Airlines that received bailout money to continue operating temporarily pull flights from at least 50 airports

The CARES Act provided money to many airlines for the purpose of keeping them running – and keeping air service available. There were initially strings attached – including that they would continue service to their usual airports at least once a week. However – airlines were later allowed to get waivers, and we found at least 50 airports lost carriers that also got bailout money – including Huntsville, Charleston, SC, New Orleans, Tucson, Flint, Lincoln and Rochester, MN.
