inewsource presents a conversation with Daniel Ellsberg: The Pentagon Papers, Whistleblowing, and Doomsday

InvestigateTV's partner, inewsource, offers the complete presentation of An Evening with Daniel Ellsberg at San Diego State University.

SAN DIEGO – Daniel Ellsberg is most known for his work on and subsequent leak of the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times, Washington Post and other newspapers in 1971. The top secret papers analyzed the United States’ involvement in Vietnam.

According to his official biography, “his trial, on twelve felony counts posing a possible sentence of 115 years, was dismissed in 1973 on grounds of governmental misconduct against him, which led to the convictions of several White House aides and figured in the impeachment proceedings against President Nixon.”

In October 2018, he participated in a Q&A session at San Diego State University, which was taped by inewsource. The full conversation appears in the video above.
